I prefer local businesses when looking for services or goods. Mark Grisafe, Architect, was a great choice. He has lived locally and his office is just off of Lakewood Blvd., in the Douglas Park area. He was easy to work with on the design. I had specific needs and wants in mind and he fulfilled very well. My home was built in 1947 and I wanted to add about 6 feet on to the front bedroom that had maintained the original features over the years. Mark presented options and I am happy with the bay window option that I selected. With the additional 6 feet, a modest walk-in closet was added as well as a bathroom with a large walk-in shower. I have dreamed of a large porch across the front of my home since I purchased it in 2000. I now have a beautiful porch with sitting space and an entrance to the remodeled guest room. The plans were completed in early 2019 and construction began in August of 2019. Work was completed as we entered the time of the Pandemic.
